Dublin/Columbus, Ohio - 2007Thursday, November 8, to Saturday, November 10, 2007 Why "heartland"? Location! Why "Cradlesong"? Music! This convention in America's heartland will have a special emphasis on sacred music related to the creche. The talented musicians at the nearby Church of Millrun are busy preparing a special program of music and dialogue for Friday evening of the convention. Besides music and art, we will be looking at regional creche traditions in the Ohio River Valley. These will include German and Scandinavian manger scenes and Eastern Orthodox (Greek and Russian) Nativity representations. Return soon for exciting updates on our 2007 convention. A great big "Thank you" is in order to all those who attended our recent gathering in Dublin, Ohio. An even bigger, "Thank You, " to all those who made it happen. We will be updating this site soon not only about the great memories of Heartland Cradlesong but with information about our next gathering which will be for our one- day meeting in Ann Arbor, Michigan on November 8, 2008.
